Mrs. Connally holds a BFA in Dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music. Owner & Director since 1976, she has been the Artistic Director of SA Met Ballet since 1987. Professional experience includes soloist roles with Boston Dance Theatre, featured dancer in Equity Musicals, Assistant Choreographer to Tommy Tune, Choreographer for numerous college programs and over 50 years of teaching. Mrs. Connally teaches Ballet, Pointe/Variations and Pre-Pointe classes.
Mrs. Heiden has a BFA in Dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music. Karin is the Executive Director and Associate Artistic Director of San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet. Her professional experience includes performing with Peggy Spina Tap Co. (NYC), and working crew for The Goodman Theatre (Chicago), Steps on Broadway (NYC) and The Carver Community Cultural Center (San Antonio). Karin has choreographed 24 years worth of material in the ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary styles, and her work has been performed from San Antonio to Montreal.
Mrs. Heiden's teaching career began in the summer of 1991 and teaches Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, and Jazz. Karin earned her Progressing Ballet Technique certification at the Regional Dance America National Festival and completed the USA International Ballet competition Teachers' Workshop with Finis Jung and Nan Giordano.
Mrs. Constantine has been on faculty since 1990. She was a Moving Experience founding company member and competed in the National Tap Off. Joann is our primary tap instructor.
Mrs. Constantin's family owns and operates A-Tex Above Ground Pools, Spas & Billiards.
Originally from Seabrook, TX, Miss Ramm, trained at the Houston Ballet Academy for six years before completing her training with the Texas Ballet Theatre School. She also participated in training programs hosted by Boston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet Theatre, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Ballet Austin.
Her professional experience includes Coastal City Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Alabama Ballet and Ballet San Antonio. As a member of these companies, she has performed in popular ballets such as The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Les Sylphides, Cinderella, Coppelia, Giselle, and George Balanchine's Rubies in addition to a variety of other classical and contemporary works. Miss Ramm recently began her choreography career, creating contemporary works for Alabama Ballet, Ballet San Antonio and San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet. Jessica teaches Pre-Ballet through Advanced Pointe and Variations.
Mr. Morris earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Belhaven University. His professional dance credits include dancing with Montgomery Ballet and Mejia Ballet International in such roles as Nutcracker/Cavalier, Rat King and Party Parent in The Nutcracker and the Prince in Snow White. As a company member with SA Met Ballet, Thaddeus has performed the title role in Hansel and Gretel as well as the Jester in Cinderella. Theatre credits include the portrayal of Cliff in Cabaret and Cain/Japeth in Children of Eden with Performing Arts San Antonio, Damis in Tartuffe and Jesus in Godspell. Thaddeus is excited to return to San Antonio with his wife Micaela. When he is not actively involved in some aspect of the performing arts (acting, singing, dancing or technical production), you'll find Thaddeus cheering on the San Antonio Spurs or experimenting with a new cuisine.
Thaddeus teaches Musical Theatre, Acting, Tap and Boy's Agility Classes.
Mrs. Morris is a recent graduate of Belhaven University with a BFA in Dance where she studied classical ballet, modern, choreography, ballet pedagogy and kinesiology. Throughout her training, Micaela performed soloist roles in many ballets including Arabian, Spanish Lead and Clara in The Nutcracker, the White Cat in The Sleeping Beauty, a townsperson soloist in Giselle, and the Flamingo in Alice in Wonderland. A former member of Montgomery Ballet, Micaela performed Spanish in The Nutcracker, the Sylph Pas de Deux in Graduation Ball, and performed many corps de ballet roles. Theatrical credits include Brenda in Hairspray, and teen ensemble in The Music Man with Legacy Theatre. Micaela's 18 years of dance experiences have cultivated a love for the arts and a passion for classical and contemporary dance. She continues to pursue her dreams as a performer and teacher, listening closely to the plans her Lord has prepared for her.
Isabella Longoria, a San Antonio native, began dancing at the age of 4 at the Guadalupe Community Center. In 2006, Isabella joined Parks and Recreation where she studied Folklorico, Flamenco, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Modern. At the age of 10 she performed in the 2nd annual WeFlamenco Fest at the Cameo Theater, and has performed in other professional shows since. Isabella participated and performed the pre-professional dance troupe Fandango from 2012-2019. She has attended numerous dance workshops at the National Institute of Flamenco with master artists from Spain, and performs often locally with other flamenco artists. She currently attends St. Mary’s University majoring in Biology with a study path in pre-pharmacy.

Nina A. Padilla is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist. She is a dance choreographer, performer and published photographer specializing in dance portraiture and dance on film. Her classes are a fusion of the Erick Hawkins technique and Bartenieff Fundamentals which helps her students understand how to move organically and within the limitations of their own anatomy. With a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Food from Texas State University, Nina has almost two decades of dance training in a wide variety of dance styles including Modern, Contact Improvisation, Ballet and Jazz.
Nina teaches CDWInc's online modern and conditioning classes.
